Positions
Join the Activity Committee
Want to get involved but don’t have a ton of free time? The Activity Committee is perfect for you! Help out with organising fun events or suggest your own ideas. It’s a great way to get a feel for how ESN Lund works while having a good time with others.
This is a flexible role – you can contribute a few hours a week, so it’s easy to fit around your schedule. Plus, it’s a great first step if you’re considering a bigger role in the future.
You can join the Activity Committee at any time during the semester.

Join the Communication Committee
If you enjoy creating content and helping get the word out, the Communication Committee is the place for you. We handle everything from promoting events to managing our social media presence and designing visuals that catch people’s attention.

Media Managers
Design flyers, posters, and social media visuals that help promote our events and activities.
PR Managers
Coordinate our social media accounts and help recruit new volunteers.
Video Editor
Produce short videos like Reels to showcase our events, trips and the team.
Join the Council
As a Council member, you’ll take on a role that suits your interests, from organising trips to promoting sustainability or supporting student well-being. It’s a great way to learn new skills and make a difference in our community.

Here’s how you can get involved:
Social Erasmus Coordinators
- Promote and organise events in line with the Social Erasmus project;
- Organise events that benefit the community;
- Expand the Section’s reach through charitable endeavour;
- Cooperate with Lund Municipality, NGOs and other local organisations;
- Collaborate with ESN Sweden’s Projects Coordinator.
Partnership Managers
- Make sure the Section is benefiting from the national and international partners of ESN;
- Create networking opportunities and attract future partners;
- Collaborate closely with our currents partners;
- Keep partners’ contact information updated.
Education Officers
- Supervise and organise ESN Study Nights;
- Organise educational and cultural events;
- Organise career related events;
- Collaborate with ESN Sweden’s National Education Officer.
ExchangeAbility Coordinators
- Organise events within the realm of the ExchangeAbility project;
- Raise awareness regarding mobility challenges for students with disabilities;
- Be the “accessibility watch”; make sure that our events are accessible;
- Collaborate with ESN Sweden’s Project Coordinator.
Environmental Coordinators
- Raise awareness regarding climate change and environmental issues through events, workshops and PR strategies;
- Collaborate with Council and Board to make the Section a more environmentally friendly organisation;
- Help other Lund organisations, businesses and other entities to become more environmentally friendly;
- Establish partnerships with other environmental organisations to create a strong “green network” in Lund.
Party Ambassadors
- Coordinate the Party Committee within the Activity Committee;
- Plan and organise parties;
- Try to implement the Responsible Party Project during events.
Sports Ambassadors
- Organise sports activities, events or competitions;
- Be responsible for promoting health and exercise.
Trips Ambassadors
- Be responsible for organising and planning local trips;
- Monitor ticket sales of local trips;
- Assist with the promotion of the local trips.
Team Building and Well-Being Coordinators
- Organise team building activities, at least once per month;
- Agree on Team Building activity budget with Treasurer for half a year;
- Main organisers for the Cottage Weekend once per semester;
- Do mental health and well-being check up throughout the semester;
- Organise health/well-being workshops or similar.

The Board is the backbone of ESN Lund, where big plans and great ideas come together. As a Board member, you’ll have the chance to take on responsibility, shape the future of our association, and leave your mark on student life in Lund.

Here’s how you can get involved:
President
As President, you’ll hold ultimate responsibility for ESN Lund and lead the Section with vision and purpose. Your tasks will include:
- Leading meetings and ensuring effective communication within the Section.
- Being the link between ESN Lund, other sections and ESN Sweden.
- Representing ESN Lund at national and international ESN events.
- Managing the bank account together with the Treasurer.
- Ensuring a smooth knowledge transfer process.
Please note: The President must have a permanent Swedish personal identity number (personnummer) in order to have access to the bank account.
Vice-President
- Substitute the President if the President cannot fulfil their obligations;
- Be responsible for the communication between the Section and other ESN sections;
- Be responsible for the communication between the Section and ESN Sweden;
- Be responsible for the contact with national agencies, Lund university, Nations and other student organisations;
- In combination with the President, represent the Section in national and international ESN meetings;
- Be responsible for implementation of the national and international projects of ESN together with the Chair of Activity;
- Be responsible for communication with Timetravels.
Treasurer
- Manage the bank account together with the President;
- Manage the current book-keeping;
- Present the Section’s finances at the General Assembly and other meetings;
- Manage the Section’s payment systems;
- Set the budget for the next fiscal year.
Please note: The Treasurer must have a permanent Swedish personal identity number (personnummer) in order to have access to the bank account.
Secretary
- Be responsible for taking minutes during council and board meetings;
- Be responsible to assign board emails to the board member who is concerned with the matter;
- Be responsible to organise the Election Meetings, including an overview of the applicants and sending out information about the applicants to Active Members;
- Book/organise venue for council meetings and communicate the details to board and council;
- Communicate with council members before meetings about adding topics to the meeting agenda;
- Create council meeting agenda;
- Organise internal social events both for council and board members;
- Share opportunities from the ESN network to the members.
Digital Manager
The Digital Manager keeps ESN Lund connected and organised through technology. Your responsibilities include:
- Managing our website (WordPress).
- Managing our Google Workspace.
- Implementing new digital soultions when required.
Chair of Activity
- Leading the Activity Committee.
- Giving advice on the planning and execution of events.
- Coordinating event applications and approvals.
- Coordinating communication between the event organisers and the Board.
Communication Manager
The Communication Manager makes sure ESN Lund’s voice is heard. Your tasks include:
- Leading the Communication Committee.
- Managing social media and promoting events.
- Answering messages from students.
Join as the Auditor
Are you detail-oriented and passionate about improving how things run? The Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring ESN Lund stays on track and continues to grow. You’ll conduct an internal audit of the Section and offer valuable insights to help improve our processes.
Term: One year

As the Auditor, you’ll make sure the Board follows the law and adheres to the statutes. You’ll write an audit report for the General Assembly, assessing the Board’s compliance and performance.
Additionally, you’ll advise the Board and other groups when needed. Whether it’s interpreting official documents or offering your opinions on current issues, your guidance will help keep things on track and improve how we operate.
Please note: The Auditor must be at least 18 years old.
